Across banking, brokerage, asset management and lending, institutions are increasingly integrating digital assets into their existing financial infrastructure. At the same time, advances in AI are transforming how financial software is developed, connected and operated. These shifts are creating a new set of requirements for the digital asset back office. Odyssey combines Cryptio's established data foundation with upgraded financial applications, direct API access, MCP connectivity, AI-powered intelligence and forward-deployed solutions, giving institutions greater flexibility in how they build and operate their digital asset back office. ## The foundation: Independent, accurate digital asset data Every digital asset financial operation begins with data. For financial institutions, that data is rarely contained in one place. Activity is distributed across blockchains, custodians, exchanges, DeFi protocols, internal ledgers and traditional financial systems. Bringing this information together accurately is an enormous technical challenge. It requires reliable connectivity, consistent normalization, reconciliation and the controls needed to turn fragmented activity into trustworthy financial records. Over eight years, Cryptio has developed the independent data infrastructure needed to address this complexity. Today, our data layer supports more than 10,000 assets across 70+ blockchains, connects with more than 35 exchanges and major custodians, and brings together on-chain activity with internal and third-party financial data. This enables institutions to address highly specific requirements, from custom reconciliation and reporting workflows to specialized financial applications, without having to develop the underlying digital asset infrastructure themselves. **Direct access through APIs** Institutions can now access Cryptio's underlying data layer directly through APIs, integrating reliable digital asset financial data into their own treasury systems, internal applications and reporting workflows. Rather than introducing another disconnected platform, Cryptio can serve as the trusted data foundation supporting the financial systems institutions already operate. **AI-enabled workflows through MCP** Through Model Context Protocol (MCP), Cryptio enables compatible AI tools and agents to interact with its infrastructure, opening new possibilities for how financial teams retrieve information and develop AI-assisted workflows.
